Yeah but this is a design contest. You can't just steal ASIMO the robot from the Honda laboratories, spray paint it black, put a pair of sunglasses on it, and submit it as your science fair project. I got disqualified!

I believe the point he's trying to make is that you're showing off despite the fact that you don't have much creativity. Hence the term LEGO Poser.
