Yeah NASA is retarded. Hey, let's actually explore all of Earth before we go off and fuck around on the moon. I'm pretty sure that's a good idea.

I'm very into space sort of things as well, but am of the opinion that NASA should be scraped and replaced by some new organisation which concentrates on viable economic gains resulting from our involvement in space (such as alternative energies and mining mars), preferably through the construction of an orbital elevator.

NASA makes money by looking good so politicians and other agencies will donate them money. they have turned into the local homeless person begging for money. if they actually cared about a quick future in space they would be developing better truly re-usable vehicles that can operate like airplanes. instead they want to launch apollo to mars (with the same crappy looking rockets).... ok the rockets are cool because it's an apartment building worth of explosives but aside from that they are crap.

if NASA cared they would develop techniques to make space travel PROFITABLE (basically space mining to upgrade industrial production.)

lets face it.... anyone who has played a decent space strategy game knows that asteroids and moons are gold mines worth fighting intergalactic wars over....

I heard that parts of one of the explodie space shuttles stayed in space for a while then smashed into the twin towers in New York.

I believe that America could be great again, but it needs to crash and be reset first.

People forget that America is still a relatively young country. We're not even 300 years old yet.

As a nation perhaps but the people in it have a rich multi cultural history that dates back to the same roots as the rest of us. A young country will old souls.

If it's to be compared with a youth then it's the one that showed the most promise and delivered the bitterest disappointment. You had it all and it was yours to loose.
