Retro rocketship

Postby OneEye589 » Sun Oct 10, 2010 10:58 pm

I made this more than a month ago for my girlfriend's dorm room, but didn't take pictures of it before I left it there. I went again this weekend and took a couple pictures.

I wanted it to look like one of those futuristic spaceships from the 50's. I did okay, but it was hard trying to get the smooth curves and things. I wanted the base to be able to hold a couple minifigs, too. I'm content with it.

EDIT: Higher quality pics.

"I want Hermione Granger! And a rocketship!"
Remus: Harry... I'm a werewolf.
Harry: Are you fucking serious?
Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

Thanks guys.

Actually RoC, I was planning on making a UFO to go along with it, the regular disk-shaped kind. Probably blue with a base on a grassy field.

Also, here's the original pictures that aren't shrunken down. Better quality.
