Image
One of many blurry pics(gonna get a new camera soon)
Image
a picture showing of the rail gun turrets and third plasma turret aswell as now sorta enclosed landing pad
Image
showing of the reactor room (nothing in there that warrants an interior shot..yet)
Image
part of the bridge done
Image
one of the two ground attack particlecannons (a third will be added..somewere.)
Image
four out of the eight VLS cells
Image
aww no missiles but im gonna redo the roof so the misilles can be longer since they will continue inside the ship.
Image
a wip mech to supplement the buzzards on board
Image
Damnit! i said supplement not replace!!
Image
looks like they don't take rivals well.
Image
... well back to the SHIP
Image
an overhead view of the roof that will house a bunch of sensor pylons
Image
it looks almost finished here doesent it?
Image
engines be here soon or i might put the engines on the sides and insert a catapult mech launch system like those on aircraft carriers.
Image
too much flash:(
Image
inside.
Image
last pic of my SHIP WIP which while i havent determined the name i have decided it will be an assaultcarrier you know small payload of lethal mechs and firepower that rivals destroyers
Well thats all.

Wow!
Lots of progress since last time I see, its taking an awesome shape!
Maybe you could make primary weapon of some sort, like the SHIPs typical huge frontal cannon.
Maybe you could show us again how the mech lift is going, or are you replacing it with the catapult?
Also, do the launchers fire normal sized missiles or super sized? Cause if their small size, you could a big battery of them

Overall looking good, still lots of work to be done but the main structure is there right? Keep it up :D

well i don't know were to fit a primary weapon/superlaser and i don't want it to look tacked on but its a fun idea perhaps a large turret or mounted underneath the fronthatch
as for the mech lift i don't know what you mean but it will propably be a catapult in the rear hangar.
the launchers will fire mediumsized missiles (three blocks long+engine)

also thanks for the comment.

ohhh yea well that lift was only in the 1.0 version it was removed for the increased hangar space but i still have the lift assembled might put it back it looked nice and added quite a bit of playability.

Wow, this is looking very excellent. Can't wait to see when it's done. It'll probably be the best SHIP of the forum from how it's going. Yeah, you don't have to tack on a superweapon, if your inital design didn't have one you'll have trouble trying to get it fit on your ship and getting it to look right(unless it's on a turret), instead of having to build your ship around it. But I do suggest at least adding another one of those sweet rail gun turrets....

Thanks for the comments :D

also regarding the super weapon issue i think the best place to place one would be directly below the front hatch (that would also raise the ship allowing me to place turrets n stuff on the bottom which would be great but im not sure i have enough reverse slopes (almost every single one was used in this ship already) but im not sure what kindof of superweapon propably a Hellbore it would be nice.

"Best SHIP of the forum" :man: :D

Mech launcher.
Fires MECHS at the enemy.

They penetrate the hull of the other ship and proceed to rip the shit out of it from inside

Buzzards with some sort of shell around them could be used, or a mech could be built for the occasion, altho it would probably look like a penis with guns.

well i thought of the mech launcer as a way to rapidly get mechs out of the ship but your idea is more awesome :D

Make a really thin mech that can fold up into a sort of narrow missile-type thing, and leave lots of studs on it bare so that as it rips apart enemy fortifications and ships it can add bulk and armor to itself. Use flat peices with holes at each end for arms and legs to give it the thin and fold-up effect, it would be awesome.

Well while that is a good idea for a mech i think it will be a bit too difficult to pull off and then i would need a launcher for those mechs that will take up alot of the hangar but still thanks for your suggestion :D

She's beautiful, I love the gubbins style and the look really enhances just how high tech this ship is.
