I like the random dead guy try editing the colors and give it a more WW2 look.

In photoshop:
Image>Adjust>desaturate
Image>Adjust>ColorBalance
Cyan<>red +50
Magenta<>Green +5
Yellow<>blue -50
You can mess around with the sliders to get the color you want.
