Right... because there's nothing basic about about giant Japanese mechs.

Oh for fuck's sake, Silent, really?

Dammit.

We're not allowing you to get rid of all of it though. Understand?

Quite a heavy-handed statement here; without trying to sound too miffed on everyone else's behalf who contribute to the armory...you are always more than welcome to increase that sub-sections quality with your own efforts

There are a great many builders who contribute to these boards whose work I would much more gladly purchase than what comes out of TLG, for sundry reasons.

I wouldn't buy someone else's mocs because I prefer building my own. However, to say that the Armory is filled with bland creations is both rude and tasteless. Zipps, Freddie, Natalya, Warhead, BFenix, Rev, Silent, Bragallot, Zahru, Piltogg, Aoffan, Dilanski, Robot Monkey, Solvess, Snakemittens, Runny, Beluga, Siercon and Coral, Oneeye, Saphdragon, ShadowScythe, Ham, Muffinman, Zupponn, Ben-Jammin, Alex, Semaj Nagirrac, Ender's Shadow and Ross Varn are great builders.

Sorry if I forgot anyone.

Not a lot of point in fighting about quality in this place but for the sake of a nice fight. Silverdream its not that they are bland heck there is some pretty good ideas here its just .. the execution is mediocre in contrast to the rest of the lego building community at large.

meh. I would expect that almost the entire forum would disagree with you on this point J+B, myself included. Perhaps we like to look at things that aren't just our own, and take inspiration, or perhaps your just God. Who knows? But I, for one, would definitely like to know some of Silent's building techniques (not to mention just owning his stuff).

Probably because not ALL people here have the time, money, space and overall life to refine its building technics on a daily basis. Lego is just one of my many hobbies (I believe some people here agree with this). Besides, the "rest of the lego building community at large" also only has a handful of superb builders. Sure, there are hundreds of good builders out there, but you canĀ“t deny some of them are right here, so quality is perfectly a matter of discussion in our forum determined by all that jazz that we already know plus our little spicing on making things deadlier. But that shouldn't be new to you...

Yeah, after all, you've done the same thing with us. You've only recently gone 'pro' in your own head and decided that we weren't worth it.
