Actually that dome looks pretty close to the nose design of the Taiidan destroyer. I think maybe you should just swap out some of those slope pieces for different parts. You're going in the right direction, just keep swapping out pieces until you find a combination you like.

Yeah, I think I can manage. There's at least four places where another full-size turret can go, and maybe half a dozen where a smaller weapon or missile rack could be placed.

Only as a variant, mind. This kind of thing is fun to do once in a while, but I wouldn't want to do it full time.
