Remember Trogdor? Or this one?

I am looking for beasts and monsters built in the same vain. That is without vast amounts of Technic/Bionix parts.

Siercon and Coral have some of the best fantasy creatures built. Search him up on FlickR.

While Siercon and Coral's creations are indeed awesome i look for simpler mocs. Neither do i have the parts nor the skill to built anything as cool as their stuff. I'd rather get some inspiration from simpler constructions. You know i have this bunch of basic bricks with eyes printed on their sides and i _know_ there are some horrible monsters behind those cute eyes... I just need a nudge in the right direction.
I'd love to copy Rev.Sylvanus gryphon for example but i have only one of the parts that make up the beak ffs!

I remember some dudes playing a huge fantasy Brikwar, Sword of something... they had some pretty nice, simple creatures. I think there's a link to it on the Brikwars mainpage.

Sword of Agot. I also think Doodstormer made some pretty cool lizardmen with slope pieces.

Slopes can be easily replaced by standard bricks and plates, the only difference that it'd look a bit more chunkier.

Very pretty, Zahru, I like it!

And Apollyon, if you only have one of the beak pieces, the second can be replaced with 2 cheese slopes (replacing the bottom section). it makes it look like the beak is closed rather than slightly open.

Inspired by Warcraft 3 perhaps?

I've went nuts with the basic design, and ended up with a bug-man-knight... thing:

Wheeljack's looking up at Optimus like he's saying "...The fuck is that thing?"

Anyway, cool Elemental and Bug-type thing, Zahru!

I concur, great find Silva! Gives me a lot of inspiration to make some heavily armored Minotaurs for my barbarian faction
