Ah, that one brings me back Tzan! That set was the only way I got some forest men back in the day..... the original castle battle packs! =)

My first set:
493 Space Command Centre
My favorite set? The Space Command Centre will always have a special place in my heart, but since I've reentered the hobby as an adult I don't approach sets the way I used to. Lego sets are almost purely a source of bricks now, at most I build a set and then break it down immediately for MOC costruction.

First set
I remember getting this thing and being totally floored by how cool LEGO sets were, and my parents loved to see me having fun with just a shitty wizard.
It's hard to pick a favorite but I had a LOT of good times with the
Renegade Runner

My first set was the First TIE fighter:
I remember eventually scrapping it for parts, and suddenly all my creations had those little blue grates...
My favorite?

It was my first "massive" set, I got it as a hand-me-down from a neighbor, it wound up carrying a couple extra knights with it.

First set:
Either this
or this
I can't recall it a 100% sure.
As for favorite, I'm not sure... maybe this, because I haven't tear it apart for pieces ever since I've got it:

As for a favorite, that's a tough choice...
I'll go with ether the Spy Shark (
I had gotten at least two of them) or the Lunar Launch Site, just for the awesomeness of everything packed into it.

As for favorite... so many choices! Robot Command Center? Black Seas Barracuda? Blacktron Renegade?
6080 King's Castle was my hand's-down favorite for most of my childhood, but once the BSB hit the shelves then all bets were off.

I don't think this was my first set, but it is definitely my favorite:

Considering it is about as old as I am, I'll let it stand for both.

I vividly remember finding this downstairs on my fifth birthday. I thought having my very own Chewie was so awesome, and how great it was to shuffle the legs across the floor.

And my favorite, designed by our very own Mike Rayhawk. Just the size of this thing blew me away. I still have it sitting on the top of my shelves, 95% complete.
