I made them a fleet.

Pretty nice ships ya got there, I like the way the blue and the red contrast each other. But what are those little doo-dads near the middle of the pic?

Is this for another game or something? My bad if you mentioned it, but it looks interesting. I'm thinking I might get in on this too...

This is for Picture Wars, something that I believe has come up before. Several Brikwars members are also PWers, since the great migration.

PW was the cause of my three-month hiatus (over that time I became exceedingly good at spriting fleets, so much so that the people there recognize me as an "elite", as it were), so beware. It can be rather addicting.

But I'm sure they'd love to have you. Feel free to PM me if you get into it and need spriting help. I'm no good at ground forces, but I'd love to assist any and fleet endeavors you engage in.

Here, let me ask you: what do you generally have trouble with? Everything, or chassis, weaponry, or some other specific detail? Shading?

Buncha minor updates:

I saw they are currently in battle.

not trying to steal thread, just wanted to say i tried this with ground troops what i got:

i think it turned out pretty good for a first try(zombie killer hillbilly btw)
edit. just realized i used jpeg and not png. D'oh!

Certainly better than most first-timers, but your legs are awkward, and they're a bit large for Picture Wars.

Although I'm no expert, I can't sprite ground troops very well. I sprite absolutely nothing but PPW fleets.

I was referring to the things that are now in the bottom left corner. I assume they are upgrades, seeing as they are under the upgraded ships...

Also, I checked out the site. Pretty cool, I'll probably get into it. Probably be doing ground troops though, not very good with spaceships.

I've done a bit of spriting with Game Maker, so I guess I have a decent start.
