Having read a ton of books during my life, I have come to a shocking conclusion: Silverdream is the protagonist of a critically acclaimed, possibly award winning novel. His unique personality makes him the perfect choice for authors trying to be edgy. So far I have found him in Catcher in the Rye, Vernon God Little and The Other Will Grayson.

Has someone spotted him in any other books? Or noticed other forum members in books, for that matter?

I think I read about a character similar to Silvadream being turned to stone in The Hobbit.

You beat me to it.

But I was going to say:

He is a small stinky character that lives in a cave and likes shiny rings.

I heard rumors of him pestering some goats named Gruff, but it seemed a bit fantastical.

There's this guy in Eragon? Yeah, not Eragon.
