I made a really bright(i was told to make it like that) block of C4 for an airsoft game saturday. It can stick to walls thanks to face down duct tape on the bottom.

Wait, what? What does that have to do with anything? Besides, i'm referencing the fact that there is no way actual explosives would be used, no way no how, you can't argue that. That's a major risk and would be locked down to anyone 18 or 21 and older, and i know you're not 18 spartan. Even then, who ever was planting the explosive, if it was for a game element, first you would have to evacuate a 1 mile radius, then the person planting it would have to be a certified explosives technician, and what fun is it if a 1 mile radius is evac'd during an airsoft game? BTW, you've dug a hole now, you can't say "but i meant pyrotechnics!" No, you SHOULD have said pyrotechnics in your post, but no, you said Explosives. Yeah......It's not illegal to blow stuff up, i'm saying that it's illegal to do that when there's a bunch of people around that might get injured. I mean, think about this, it's not that hard to realize how many problems there are with what spartan is saying. Imagine, at minimum, about 50 people all crowded in a base together. Someone sneaks in, with some C4, plants it, then leaves. It detonates, killing all 50 people. That's illegal as fuck. Now put that in an airsoft game where a decent amount of those people are kids still. When you blow shit up, you have a minimum safety ring, which is the minimum "When this shit blows up you can still be alive at this point" ring, times like 3. In most airsoft games, that Minimum still alive ring is still too big. People would die. Which i don't need to tell you just how fucking illegal that is.

You talk all the time about how airsoft has a totally realistic atmosphere. Why can't they bury some quarter sticks of dynamite on the edges of the field, buried? Some dirt flying around in areas where no one is. Some realistic looking mortar-shell effects?

That's called pryotechnics. You wouldn't use fucking dynamite for that, pyro is cheaper, doesn't need to be registered, and anyone can own it. Yes, i'm the moron. Ok. He said explosives, in a context implying that it was an in-game prop, like my C4 is. Minors cannot own explosives, that's what it has to do with it. Just like minors can't own handguns. 1. Pyrotechnics are made of explosive materials (explosives)
2. He never said they were handed out to everyone, he said that they used them. Maybe he meant the venue he was at used them.
3. Again, if the venue owned the explosives, it wouldn't matter whether minors are allowed to own it or handle it.

As far as I can see, you're the one who called someone else out for being a liar without looking at alternatives.
