Neko Case is the girl in The New Pornographers right? Awesome band, I'll take a look at that song tomorrow maybe.

Muse is generic

Coheed and Cambria write terrible songs

The only good bands you guys have mentioned so far are Dethklok and Rush.

bring it on.

Heck yeah!

Muse is the best! This may seem a little weird to some of you, (this is Brikwars, though)but I made minifigs of the band and I'm planning on using them in a battle sometime. Heck, I've made stats and what not for them, so I guess I'll have to post that sometime, too.......

Am I the only one who had not heard of any of these bands till now?

Better yet, am I the only one who thinks old music is actually BETTER than most new music in the same genre?

I agree with Soap though. I just have really old stuff that my dad puts on CDs when he's not doing anything else.

Here are my three favorite bands.

The Black Keys: They mix blues and rock to sound like bands from the days of old.

Your Touch

Strange Times

Nirvana: Grunge music at it's best.

Breed

Smells Like Teen Spirit

The Jimi Hendrix Experience: The most legendary guitarist the world has ever seen and the two white guys that play drums and bass.

All Along The Watchtower

Voodoo Child (Slight Return)

Overrated, but still good. I prefer Pearl Jam, followed by Alice in Chains (old stuff, new singer just doesn't compare to Layne).

I listen to indie shit and ska, so I'll refrain from posting any bands to avoid being berated.

@aoffan23, have you heard Check My Brain? Sounds nearly identical to Layne.

@Bonn-o-Tron, such as Sublime? :D As far as indie goes, my favorite band is Vampire Weekend (I saw them last month). :D

Are non-metal bands allowed? Also define band.

I'll just say what I'm currently listening to. If you think something's too emo, or something, my response is I listen to mostly everything.

The Prodigy
My Chemical Romance
Linkin Park
Black Eyed Peas
Korn
NIN
