I hope to make this the thread for showing you all some of the Immortals so you can all get to know and recognise them and it may even help any that want to copy them for their own battles in the Immortal War.
An Immortal Task force arrives to help protect the MAOX R+D facilities while a delegation lands to carry out some rigorous counter espionage after the discovery of Shark Mutants believed to be in the employ of Professor Shark.
The High Lady CoolEyes, Psionics Elite of the Immortal Family and Grand Daughter to the Emperor himself. Her mind powers are phenomenal and she is the second in command of the Psi Divisions Combat Espionage and Interrogations departments.
Her temporary bodyguard DeathWish, a Maniac and one of the first of the Immortals to be born in the Brikverse. He is the Great, Great Grandchild to the Emperors Brother Nameless. Obviously he's still very young but more than capable. Note the tusks.
Nightfall: a shadowy and silent female who's designation is given as, problem solver. Again another new edition to the Immortals. No further information is provided and it would be rude to ask.

EDIT: Yes, exactly right, with CoolEyes looks and thoughts can kill. Deathwish ate the last dentist. The High Lady CoolEyes wrote:We are not here to interfere in the affairs of our allies, we merely wish to enhance the security and investigate a lead to an old foe who may have taken refuge in this galaxy. Your help in this matter will not go un-noted or un-rewarded.

Well, that's slightly strange, especially since I finally got around to reading Dune yesterday.
I'm nearly done.
About halfway through, it struck me how strange the resemblance of the galactic politics were to Warhead's Immortals. I then applied it to the Immortal War. I am slightly fascinated that no heros have been named Duke Paul as of now.
And it's rather weird that Soapy drew that comparison in the same five minutes of me thinking it.

Nope, truly that's all just koincidence. I came up with all the Immortal Stuff years before I even saw Dune. Besides the Emperors Daughter was just the Narrator in the film and I haven't read any of the books but hope to at some point.Magic Soap wrote:And the whole daughter of emperor, crazy eye thing going on... Dune.
Classic.
In fact a closer comparison to the Immortals and how they started would be The 40K Emperor and his Primarchs but I never read or bothered with any 40K until I was introduced to it by a new group of friends when I was 20 and the Immortals had already been around for at least 6 years before that.
Stay with me on this one. The Immortal Figs are old... like 20+ years old. CoolEyes is one of those but with a slight refit. Most look even worse. EDIT: To do a major refit would be to refit over 200 Mini-Figs... not going to happen.
I like Deathwish and Nightfall but they aren't Elite or main characters so less awesome. C'mon dude they can't all look like Sig Figs.
