Tides of Darkness: Act 5
Welcome friends to the climax.
The Titan(Paco):
The titan picks up a dwarven shield and uses it as extra armor.
Then he declares to strike!
He kicks away a gargoyle, who loses a hp.
Then kicks a skellie out of existence.
Tenacious Duo (the Shadowscythe):
The warriors stand up, although a wee bit dizzy.
The avatar for some reason picks up the two heroes. ' okay folks, it's time to par-tey!'
Bodyslammin! 3 orks got squished.
Amazon elves (Arkbrik):
The warriors move closer to the fray.
Then the archers kill all but one cultist.
Direwood Strike Team (silverdream):
The burrower asplodes! But it only knocks Mugg out.
The remaining savagemen gang on Ezra; he loses 1 hp.
Warhead's forces:
The last nightbringer raises 3 skeletons.
then they attack Niol and the runeknights, originally by lunging spears at them, but it fails, so they decide to go the old-fashioned way.
Sadly, that's only enough to kill the officer.
The other squad is more succesful, as they kill all spearmen except their officer.
One of the gargoyles get into firing range...
He directly attack the rocket launcher, which explodes, killing an engineer and the crew of the launcher. The other gargoyle attacked the titan but didn't do anything noteworthy.
The last deathknight charged Karl, and he could consider himself lucky picking up that shield, because that saves his life from the assault (and only by 1 point!).
Meanwhile Warhead decided to give the titan a visit.
But then...
Karl, using his feat from the previous round, pulls a small device out of his pocket and activates it. 'Give my regards to hell, you fiend!' (fun fact: this pic's filename is dscf6666 )
'What the', says Warhead as the farsight rifle behind him starts beeping.
Self destruct initiated!
Warhead used his magiks to dampen the explosion, but that only kept him alive. Otherwise... he's in pretty crap shape.
Ezra's forces (Ross_Varn):
The last cultist showed some pretty mad skillz as he succesfully thrown a poison bomb up to the gryphon riders.
2 archers died from the toxins.
Meanwhile, Ezra revealed his irradiated visage, which killed the savagemen.
Then he blasted the rocketeer, who lost 1 hp.
Orks (Yoda_Dog):
Kensai using his powers, driven his lads from frenzy to bloodthirsty rampage. The orks seemed like crazed demons from hell who'd erupt from such rage.
They obliterated the imperial crossbowmen.
However, all power comes with a price...
Kensai and his orks suffers damage from the constant strains of battle, and some die as they can't stand the pressure. Kensai losts 1 hp.
Also, the arrowboys fired at Niol, who lost a hp.
Niol's forces (Elmagnifico):
The titan recovered only to see the carnage of the orks.
Bewildered, he picked up a troll (awesomeosaur was too far)...
... and threw it into the orks, killing all but 1 and Kensai.
Niol mustered all troops available, and led a valiant attack against the undead. Horrific numbers of criticals were rolled, and the fate of the clash depended on 1 point of damage.
It resulted in the annihilation of the skeletons.
The warmachine took out 3 additional bones.
Engineer's Guild (Bragallot):
The engineer's decide to abandon their post, and fall back. One engineer however, deals 1 hp damage to the gargoyle.
The flamer and the techknight put an end to the last skeletons.
Finally, the rocketeer attacks Ezra, but fails to do damage.
And thus ends turn 5. Stay tuned for the final kill numbers, and epilogue!

Epilogue (story-mode basically):
The battlefield; transformed into a sea of corpses. Ork, man, and undead remains scattered everywhere.
Area contamination level extreme. Purge is mandatory.
- Thus the majistik titan opens his chest panels and raises the main reactor core. He begins to overload it, causing an explosion that'd vaporize everything, leaving nothing but the bare ground behind.
'You guys are coming with me, the boss's like your style' grumbles the avatar and vanishes with Jables and Kage.
The amazon elves swiftly depart, but take the remains of their fellow sisters with themselves.
Niol and Karl both withdraw their battered forces.
Kensai for a moment, puts his lust for battle aside and logically leaves the field. Mugg, being the only direwoodian to survive, is quickly convinced to join his greenskinned kin.
Ezra leaves with his cultist, and so does the last deathknight, while he carries what's left of his master. Warhead constantly utters one sole word: 'vengeance...'
As all depart, the titan's core melts down, and explodes, and takes all evidence of the battle with himself.
The battle didn't really had any victor. Of course, technically we could say the imperial's won, due to they had the most survivors. But! The area which they were fighting for still remained contested. The orks could be the victorious ones for keeping their pillaged land, but it's leveled to the ground and reduced to a plain of nothingness. Warhead's may be the winner, as he weakened the Empire, but for what price... all in all, none of the conflicts have been resolved in this fight. But does this render it pointless? Of course not! However, all forces now will surely lick their wounds and recover for another, greater clash...
The Kill Chart:
the Shadowscythe: 12
Arkbrik: 12
silverdream: 8
Warhead: 36
Ross_Varn: 10
Yoda_Dog: 33

I hope you guys enjoyed it, and apologies for rushing you lots. Next time I probably wouldn't. But I think that won't occur soon; now I'm off cleaning up the mess that "you" caused

I wanted them to hit you in the flank after chucking their spears but it just didn't work out. Sometimes it helps to be luckier than the other guy.
Bravo! Great work Zahru, and thanks for letting me play again as the Undead. This was yet another awesome battle and between you and Brag they have been great games I have highly enjoyed, I enjoy all the games I play, give or take one or two but I'm beginning to favour the fantasy genre most of all because of you two. I look forward to marching once more in the cause of Evuul.
I still think I could have taken all you good guys out if it hadn't been for that ruttin' pop-up Titan, I was well on my way to feasting on your bones. Yoda-Dog did well too. Ross... wow, just, wow.
In conclusion all I can say in the end is, next time I shall have my vengeance.

I like your slow change of heart with genres Warhead... also your and Bragallot's squabbles are always a blast to read! Like a grumpy old husband and his wife (let you decide who's who)
Edit: 600th post! Yay!
