My dad taught me an important lesson early in life, which is that a 5' guy standing up is always taller than a 6' one lying on the ground bleeding. It's a much repeated story in my family.

That's why I give the "never give a little fucker a chance" speech in my family.

I must admit when faced with taller people in a fight it does makes you more determined to hurt them quickly with as much force as you can so that they give in.

Of course if someone is big enough that when they tense their arms Police cuffs just burst open it's time to run and get help. Didn't happen to me but I was on duty at the time.

It is my opinion that chivalry, originally dictating a code of conduct for helping women, in a point of time within which women were not equal to men.

Now that women are equal to men, Chivalry no longer serves it's purpose, and those complaining are simply whining about the lack of attention. That very same attention, which could be directed towards women under the guise of chivalry in situations where a more direct approach cannot be used, is very effective in scoring points with the ladies

No doubt they're both lies. I myself keep at the average American height for my age: 5'10"
