What the hell just happened? How did we get here? And WHAT THE FUCK DID GUNGIR JUST CALL ME?
Seriously, when people die too fast you don't really appreciate it.

And BTW the guys that were wiped out were Immortal flunkies(battle to be finished and posted)

Learn to use some kind of strategy if you don't like your figures dying, kid. If you keep your soldiers in tight formations they are stronger against infantry, but explosions will blow straight through it. If you stagger your lines and spread out your soldiers, then they will be weaker against the grunts but more powerful against rockets and stuff. It should be obvious that if you just charge in the general direction of the enemy in a tight formation that their explosives will tear you apart.

Jezz, there are so many things you can do... most of them have already been said anyways...

Build missile countermeasures, spread your infantry to take less casualties, get cover, bail, give infantry heavy armor, give explosive less power, use less explosives, move your infantry around in armored transports (APCs), make cannon fodder units, make units specialized in taking missile damage (like trolls with huge shields), fuck there are endless ways to fix that problem! Get creative!

So the bottom line Cpl. Halan, is that for the last 2 pages they have been trying to say:

No there is not a problem with the rules, it is a problem with how you play.

Hope that helps make it easier for you to understand.

The solution is to armor up your men. Assuming it's direct-fire explosives, you could just sacrifice a few men to block the path of the explosive and make it prematurely detonate.

One of my buddies made a terrorist army full of minifigs with rubberbands full of grenades. Just utter shitloads of grenades. 8 to a fig.

I responded by giving my hero a baseball bat and hitting the 'nades back into HIS army.

Mostly dead and with all their explosives used up, my remaining guys easily mopped them up with rifles.

Walls also help. If you see a guy moving in to shoot, duck behind cover so you're harder to hit.

guns as destructive as RPG's or tows should be so hard to aim that they can only be aimed at vehicles or equally large targets, although in general the only thing big enough to take out a vehicle should be anoter vehicle

yes but guns that powerful don't need precise aiming for anti infantry, as thay have a large blast radius

They go "Boom" and things come out the end. They might as well be guns.

You know, the best way to avoid explosions is to kill the people launching explosives. Failing that, attempt to have more squads than the enemy has big bombs. On the case of that shotgun mortar, yeah, you're just screwed.
