So, Brikwars turns 15 this coming Halloween... interesting. So, when do we get loads of free stuff Stubby/Rayhawk!?!

We could always set Colt on fire, that'd be Brikwarsy.

If you pace yourself warhead, you could get brikwars birthday to coincide with your 7000th post.

Halloween is like 10 weeks away right? So maybe it would be more realistic for him to go for #7500 on the Birthday.

Google Groups says the first online launch was Feb 1 1997 to rec.toys.lego:

Brikwars.com wrote:The very first edition of what would eventually become BrikWars was written in the waning months of 1995. This text spent a shadowy existence, passing from person to person by photocopies and e-mail for nearly a year, mutating and changing along the way, but staying basically true to (and by 'true to' we mean 'plagiarized from') its Lego Wars predecessors. Eventually the game found its first stable Internet home on the web page of an Oregon State University student by the name of Chad Bagaasoc, requiring the assembly of a 'definitive' text from the many variations in use at the time. This was accomplished in early 1997, and that text remained in authority for over a year and a half.

Wow they still get posts on RTL, not many.

I was on an Asheron's Call newsgroup during beta and the following few years. Then as the game died someone would post and get an answer 6 months later. But there was about ten people who were still checking. Old habits die hard.

CALLING ALL BRIKWARRIORS! THIS IS A REMINDER THAT BRIKWARS APPARENTLY TURNS 15 THIS HALLOWEEN. I THINK WE OWE IT TO THE RAYHAWK TO SHOW SOME FUCK DAMN APPRECIATION, EVEN IN A SMALL PROBABLY NON-MEANINGFUL AND DEFINITELY EASY ON THE EFFORT SORT OF WAY...
I'm already more than busy with Fico but hope to manage something at least slightly good. The only problem being that Halloween is a big deal in our house so it's getting time to post it up but I'm determined to try. So, I'm subtly asking all you others in my own way to Man the fuck up and get something on for this awesome occasion, or be a bitch. Warhead, out.

I think it's time Piltogg finally did that video battle.

But it's doubtful, so we should have someone with the materials to do a big sig-fig battle instead.

I nominate Warhead!

I think we should all help Rayhawk with the rulebook by making Good! quality pictures with a nice terrain and nice lighting for example situations and such.
That would really mean something.

Let's everyone post battle reports on halloween.

Third'd. As long as the battle reports are all of large, epic battles that really show the audacity of Brikwars. ^_^

I found out I'm off to Disneyland on the day after Halloween so don't expect anything awesome from me (as usual).
