The Brikwars Anthem

Post by Olothontor » Sun Oct 17, 2010 6:48 pm

Kidko and I had a spat of guitar-ness, and decided we should do something with it.

For those of you who can't hear it, here are the lyrics.

Code: Select all

Yellow heads
Silver guns
Fire burns
Armies charge

Dawn breaks, morale is high
From the lines of steel breaks a war cry
From the back the general shouts
"Hold the line, forget your doubts!"
Bodies fly and horses neigh
Dice are thrown to decide their fate

Brikwars!
Brikwars!
Brikwars!
Brikwars!

Arrows fly and cannons fire
All who fight never tire
War machines are rolling in
Through the smoke and gore and sin
Lightning flash and thunder crack
Good God, there went the left flank!

Houses burn in fields of blood
Carnage sown, the battle's won
Out from heaven comes a hand
From this void we begin again...

Brikwars!
Brikwars!
Brikwars!
Brikwars!
Enjoy.

Rather Nice, it is enjoyable.
How long did it take to make?
Also, nice singing. :D

not metal enough for my tastes. But pretty good ignoring that fact.

Thanks guys.

Moronstudios: Hmm. I was over for a total of about 4 or 5 hours, maybe 3 of which were spent just kinda dicking about. I'd say approx. 1-and-a-half to 2 hours, writing plus recording. Editing was done by kidko after the fact.

T'was pretty fun, especially trying to make a classical guitar fit with a pop-styled voice and a Fender strat on a grunge setting.

Nice work dude! About time something like this appeared

Its a bit to slow IMO, notch it up 1/2x or 2x bpms and a little more gain. Despite that, its pretty awesome 8)
