But yeah, no, it's funny. I actually do that occasionally- like at a party or something, just randomly bump into a girl and end up talking to her for the rest of my time there... which is, I assume, the first step.

it sorta is, except you can still blow all of your chances every single step of the way.
unless she is somehow madly in love, in which case you can practically break up with her and still bone her. funny how that works out.
