Not really a criticism, just an observation. The carnage is still really first rate. Kudos to all involved.

I would have to focus 2-3 of my men to take out one assyrian soldier. And my tanks had to focus on the mecha so they weren't much help against the infantry. But, they fare's better when I fugured out how manage my men....

*Also take note, see the pile of guns on the left, off the field, those's were weapon fail's. Lost a good number of Assyrians, VOL, & 45th to those....

You gotta get your guys some flashlights and steel balls to compensate, then. ;)

Why didn't you deploy extra light armor to compensate or was the CP equal?

It's to balance out the extra armor I had out. It's ok though, my marines have light armor....

Turn 4 -- The Vol

Image

The first thing that happened was that the Artemis was fired on from all sides. It took down their wall, but would go no further. Vol rail guns and laser pistols and OT staffs destroyed it. Now it's just a burning hulk.

Image

The gunner on the downed dropship also took revenge for the loss of his pilot. A Vesta Jet Bike was blown out of the air.

Image

And finally the damaged War Pig mowed down an Assyrian soldier.

Assyrian Star Empire

Image

All commandos were brought onto the field this turn.

Image

The commandos near the War Pig took it out.

Image

The Star Commandos missed their target by a couple of inches, landing behind the 45th's MBT.

Image

And the CC squad moved in by the lighter tank. They decided to put their laser swords to the test...

Image

The damage roll...

Image

And boom!! The tank is shredded.

Image

But it's not over... The Assyrians also brought in their light gun boat. It combined fire with all other Assyrian units on that side of the field against the 45th's MBT.

Image

The damage roll...

Image

The tank is not destroyed. Its' armour is heavy and it has more structure points than the lighter tanks did. It's messed up but not out of the fight yet.

45th Union

Image

First thing first, their hero beheaded the Star Commando Captain in close combat.

Image

And then they showed the Assyrians that they also know a thing or two about combined fire. The mighty Assyrian Dreadnought, piloted by an ancient DSM, was destroyed. This ended turn 4.

Sorry I don't have pictures of every action that happened. I focused on my guys more, which is probably natural, so we haven't seen much Vol//45th action because of that, though to be fair I was the center of most of the combat for both teams. You can see from the last picture that the 45th's jeeps don't have many Vol targets so they didn't really fight there much anyway except during the first two turns. But I also missed some of the stuff I was doing. You can see my 2nd-Type Assassin Droids teleported in this round but they only got photo'd in the last picture as well...

Please also note, most of the VOL I encountered on my right have been crushed... Thats why that force is sweeping in to flank now...

And all the while I thought it was because most of the guys on your left flank had been crushed.

Sorry ;)

this battle is absolutely ridiculous! loving every picture of it.

this is the absolute best example of army scale brikwars . . .
