I have to admit I will never understand people like All-knowing-ardvark. They go to a place knowing what kind of place it is and then cry how upset they are that the place is just what it is.

This forum is not "work safe" nor "parents safe" and it never ever claimed to be "kid safe". So pull your head out and move on. Either way stop playing the victim. You have a choice to come here or not. Go back to your safe forums or deal with it. It really is that simple.

A decent one. Really, is it necessary to put pseudo-porn on this site? Do pictures like the ones I described raise the tone and intelligence of the site AT ALL? This site has a great amount of potential, but it is rather brought down by some of the content you guys insist upon posting.

Like you said, there's already plenty of that stuff on the other sites you go to. What would be the point of even having this forum if it were what you could find on every other forum.

But I kind of agree in a sense, this site does have some great potential, and that's why whenever you guys start fucking it up by taking yourself too seriously I'm glad to see my floppy penis put in an appearance.

I'm have to agree with All-Knowing, in that some material is goes beyond mere crudeness and into obscenity. Obscene material should never be tolerated in a forum that attracts a fairly young audience (There are people under 18 here, myself included). It's rude and makes the place seem less appealing to potential members.

I have been here only for a short period, but only some topics are somewhat NSFW (And even that's arguable, only some partial nudity pictures and crude language). There is quite a difference between being kid-friendly (Which of course, we don't cater to), but there should be some sort of standards.

Anyways, crudness is fine, obscenity should really be discouraged at the least.

I can't remember ever seeing anything here that I thought was particularly obscene. In any case, obscenity is a matter of context; please refer to the Miller Test used in modern U.S. law:

I don't think that penis pictures satisfy even one of the requirements for obscenity. Silva is probably the only person whose interest in them might be prurient, none of them show sexual conduct, and they have serious artistic and literary merit in that this whole forum exists as my artistic statement of a system designed to fuck with itself in infinite recursion.
