I found this in the same box.

Its made of ribbon epoxy (yellow and blue make green).
The metal bits are bike spokes, or the the connector rods on those car racetrack sets.
There is some string wound around the cross bar.
The length of the main body is 2.3 inches.

There is a black elastic band that you twist with those round bits.
There is that arc with holes in it so you can fire stuff at different ranges by moving the rod to new holes.

Good to see you found the stuff from your days as a crusader!

8) Ingenious!

All I ever made in miniature like this was a bow and arrow from wooden BBQ skewers. I tested it out while Mini-Warhead watched and managed to get an arrow stuck in a wall and another in the upholstery of the dinning room furniture before the laughing gave us away and Mrs Warhead (AKA the Grinch) busted us. :man:

Cross Bows and Bows were my thing as a kid. Oh, and a metal throwing axe from a sharpened triangular door hinge. And the obvious Firework rocket tubes that most people try out.

Looks primitive, yet funcional... say, you wouldnt by chance have a film of your creations in action now would you Tzan?

Nope.

In days of yore we did have an 8mm film camera which I used a bit at art school. Actually I still have the 8mm camera and projector.

I still don't have a video camera and no real plans on getting one.
No plans on getting a cell phone either. I work at home.

A guy I worked with back in 2000 was a very important guy in the company so his only relief from questions was at lunch time. He would leave the cell on his desk and drive to a pond and just sit there for an hour.

People were disappointed they couldn't interrupt him at lunch with their stupid question.

I only just started texting. None of my friends answer their phones when I call, but will text me right back if I text them, no matter what time.

Not really, who can be bothered pretending they're interested in what some asshole has to say when they phone you. It's easier to fake interest and get rid of them with a few typed words.

not all ways, because txting them back tells them that you are available and willing to respond leading them to txt again. Unless of course you said that you won't respond again directly or indirectly.
