Claymore Construction Journal

Post by BFenix » Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:51 pm

So, I only have this weekend and a few school days (8-13 January) to make my Claymore to accompany my William Wallace essay for school.
The problem is, the weather is being a bitch and from one moment to another it might start raining. I obviously can't work in the rain but even if it isint raining I can't set my stuff up with the pavement wet and humid, it would damage the wood and it wouldn't be very safe to use power tools.

Today I drawed and planned everything. Tomorrow I hope the day is cool so I can cut, sand and glue everything up.

Sorry for the Yule stuff, we are repacking things...

Btw, if you are interested, check out my katana Project!

NOTE: Ill be getting the material for painting and coating for both the Claymore and Katana once the first one is built.

The Claymore Project is back on tracks! Although Im actually going more for a long/bastard fantasy sword. Thx Michael Moorcock for inspiration. It will basically be my picture of Stormbringer or Mournblade materialized.
