how to not lose minifigs in a large convention

Postby samuelzz10 » Wed Feb 02, 2011 6:58 pm

it only take a few easy steps:

1: decide what you will bring

2: lay all your minifigs in groups of 5

3: take photos of them

4: print them, put them somewhere safe, and your ready.

Honestly, I just ran into one too many "durrr, how do we ceep tracks of da minifigures?" comments.

Squadplates. Unfortunately, we would need to pull the dead ones off, which detracts a bit from the ossum... ah well.

I think that the fact that we would all be having brikwar at the same time would be ossum anyways

Nonesense! Blue-tack the dead ones to the plate. Magically floating corpses FTW!

Y'know, that might actually work. Bring a 1x2 plate and tack the dead body to the plate, he'd be lying down...

...then again, that would interrupt squad maneuvers. Here's an idea. Each faction has a certain color baseplate. The dead are usually gathered in battle lines anyway, so when a mini goes down, it gravitates to the nearest deadplate, where the faction's dead are lain...

And we could have temporary bonuses for having the largest piles of enemy bodies on a nearby deadplate.

Hmm.

Just take your minifigs off the table once they are killed if you are concerned.

You could always Tak the dead to a 4x2 plate, and use a different colour for each team...
Or just lift of the dead, it's easier.

It's not hard if you have defined colour schemes and only a few random ones.

Also, you can *gasp!* minimize the amount of fig removal. I don't remove arms, for example.

Yeah, how about only dismembering people for weapons that really warrant it.

Natalya, I'm looking at you... lasers do not make heads fly off.

Maybe it could flash evaporate all the fluids in your head so your head would explode.

But then you switch the head out for a black one, you don't blow it off.

Rocket fluids!
