Screw you and your false advertising, Future Shop

So, I was picking up a new ethernet cable when a display rack caught my eye. It had rows of cases with "Metal Gear Solid 4" on them, and my brother figured they were display copies for pre-ordering or something, so I snagged one and purchased it. Turns out it's a DVD called "Metal Gear Saga" and it explains the stories of the games or something. Fuck.

You idiot. MGS4 wasn't even released. Even if they were for pre-order, you should not be able to buy them, because they are illegal(i think).

Whatever, the shop staff screwed you anyways.

No. Around here, stores tend to have display copies of the game on the shelves, and you can bring the case up to the cashier if you want to pre-order, so that's what I figured was going on. Although, I am idiot for not reading the side label of the case.

Man, don't you read everything that is in big letters in a DVD/CD case?

I wasn't paying attention to the side label. It seems pretty frivolous to worry about what the side says, since in most cases it's the exact same thing as the front of the case.

Normally smaller.

C'mon, when you are waiting in the line to pay it, don't you grab it, have a look around the box, and then put it back after being totally sure that's what you want?

Of course, if there was no waiting line, then you were unlucky.

There was no waiting in line. The store was nearly empty. Also, I was pretty excited thinking about MGS4, so my brain was pretty much void of common sense.

10 bucks Canadian (I don't know what the exchange rate is)

Well, considering I already watched it, that seems pointless now.

They'll probably let you return it. My brother returned an mp3 player to Future Shop after he had opened it, two weeks after it was bought.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

I'm sorry but "Future Shop" sounds like the name of a store in an obscure poorly translaterd Japanese rpg that the internet has never heard of.

I forgot to mention the part where I somewhat enjoyed it, so it was probably worth the $10.

It's the Canadian equivalent of Circuit City or Best Buy or whatever the hell you have down there.

Huh? I don't know about what they have near the border, but down here we pray to Mechano-Jesus for our electronics, and then they rain from the sky covered in styrofoam.
