So, I know this seems really pathetic to some of you, but here goes.

I'm having a photoshoot for the idol duet I've recently formed with a good half-Japanese friend of mine, but have found my physique to be slightly subpar on the upper half of my body. Subsequently, I've started doing a daily workout in the evenings to improve, consisting of about 100 curls, 30 pushups (I'm pretty bad at them), and a bunch of crunches (I always lose count of these and end up just doing it until it burns enough).

My question is, is this sufficient enough to get some definition after a few weeks? Or do I need to up the stakes, as it were?

P.S. Yeah, yeah, I'll post the results of the photoshoot once they're available to the public.

Flashback! To my days at the Cathouse Club in Glasgow. It's like watching all those Glam Rock dudes in the toilet foofing with their hair as you hurl chunks in the next stall while Faith No More belts out War Pigs.

We had a PE leson last week which was pretty brutal, gradual running back and forth greater distances, frog jumping and lunging, and finally gradually going up to ten push ups and sit ups with running between both, and then 25 berpes or whatever they're called. I legs still are sore but I think it was worth it, this is the first PE teacher that actually makes us do stuff besides easy sports, and he shows us videos of people breaking bones in theory in between teaching us the different types of bones. Today we had a theory lesson and he told us he'd show us 'evidence of the loch ness monster' and told us to watch the ducks closely, cause they get eaten, and so he showed us the video. Sure enough there were the two ducks, but there was this calm music playing.
"Hey this is kinda fish--"
"RARGH!!!"

I do actually walk for about an hour ever day, since I walk to and from school for about half an hour both ways.

You're right about the diet though, my diet tends to be pretty bad.

This is what i've been doing for my swim team:

Swim for 3 hours a day for about 4 months.

Getting about 6500-8000 yards in that time should do it. it may make you a skinny fuck, but you'll be a handsome, toned skinny fuck.

go into meat lockers and beat the red out of some dead stuff


get and old dude to yell at you while your doing any work out

put on sweat pants a hoodie and a beenie run up to the top of some steps and yell adriaaaannn


any way if you want abs do flutter kicks

8.kick them like your trying to run towards the roof

or do sit ups with a weight held behind your head
it only has to be 8-10 pounds and it will be hard but you will get great abs

oh and the day of the photo shoot do some sit ups, it will pump up the muscle and make it stand out

Try getting a job like Bear Grylls, such jobs normally come complete with lots of exercise and a good diet (consisting mainly of maggots).

Or you could just run five miles like they say. It does kinda work a little as i have experienced whilst being forced to run five miles on wednesdays for my fucking cross-country team run by an ex soldier. It is customary for all these runs to end with: "We arent all fuckin Vietnam* vets"

*So he never went to Vietnam, but you get my point.

You need to up the stakes. I've been working out for about a year and a half now (mainly using P90X). I always try to change my workouts up a little everytime i workout, and don't ever, EVER do the same work out two or more days in a row. You won't get any results. I always go weights/cardio/weights/cardio/weights and follow that pattern throughout the week, changing the muscles worked and pattern each time.

Basically, I think of working out like building with lego: always try something new, and always look for ways to improve. Hope that helps.
