Way ahead of you. But really, isn't half the fun making horrible death traps and "acidentely" forgetting to lable them? Anyway, yeah, it has notes.

yeah, that misslabeling is what once made me discover the secondary power of my defence mechanism. namely to burn the entire (visible) map.
you see, instead of locking in the enemies and then safely burning them in lava, I forgot to raise a bridge and to my surprise the savana caught fire and did not at any point stop burning till the entire map was ashes. it lasted seasons.
Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

I still say you should work Orem to death making him dig down. We all know what happens then

Really should get back to work. Oh, and orem and ross are both being tld to go down, but I'm having them stop while we deal with this cavern. I might just throw the turn at the next guy in line, let them deal with it.

15th of Timber:
I’ve decided that we aren’t going into that cavern anytime soon, and I don’t want anything to come up that stairwell and say hi. So I’m having our carpent
Praise be! Merchants! Dwarven ones! Finally, I’ve been waiting all year. Hopefully they won’t be to curious about all the mud surrounding the depot.
24th of Timber:
I traded them all our worthless crafts for an assortment of weapons and armor, as well as EVERY SINGLE PLUMP HELMET I COULD SEE. We ain’t running out of food or beer anytime soon. As for the weapons, well, I have a feeling that the cavern is going to be less than friendly. Then I noticed. We’re still hauling stuff in. This has got to be the best day of my life. Now then, I think I might give Orem another go in the Militia, see if he works this time. Orem, Hero of the Stones. Has a hell of a ring to it.
I tell the Liaison that we need more weapons.
AND MORE PLUMP HELMETS!
4th of Moonstone:
Good show Orem, you’re finally working. Now, to get you some suitable gear. I figure he can have the armor, and there should be an axe in his near future.
7th of Moonstone:
Eff it, we need some of those things. I went and told the merchant that a few of his wares were contraband and ordered them to be dumped. That’ll show him.
9th of Moonstone:
One of the fisherdwarves ran up to me and said that there weren’t any fish in the eastern swamps. I slapped him in the head and told him not to go fishing in a block of ice. I swear, these people get dumber everyday.
In other news, the trader is smarter than to just hand me his stuff. Guess I’ll just have to drown him.
Shit, the river’s frozen. How the hell do you miss something like that? Well, plan B. If you can’t flood them, tear down the whole damn building. Down with the depot!
Oh, and I finished that paperwork. Here’s what they want.
Armor--|0|
Tools---|0
Musical instruments ---|0
Rock Bars -|0|-
Thread -|0|-
Fish|0|--
Bracelets|0|---
Leather Waterskins|0|---
Tanned hides -|0|-
Crutches |0|--
Shit, I didn’t sign up for this. I head over to the mineshaft, drop a shit ton of paperwork on orem, and let him work it all out. I’m gonna retire when this is all over.
And with that ends the reign of Scottsman the 1st, for now…
Email sent to Orem with the save attached.

You do know that the save I handed you didn't get all the way to Granite, right? Anyway, what are your plans for the cavern, and do you intend to use that fancy mechanism for somthing important?
