Hell yeah, V-man won't stay dead but the others will, you'd need magic to kill the soul suckers but otherwise, a hollowpoint doesn't care if the head it goes through slings magic for a living. Also, SMGs have a much higher rate of fire than a wand.

To be quite frank, we can do this all day- Bullets vs. Magic/Jedi/Dinosaurs/Ninjas... Healing! Force push! Tough hide! Gah.

My opinion of popular portrays of magic is that their freaking over powered for it's use.
Why shoot a fire spell at somebody when you could set their lungs on fire?
Or chuck a brick when you could chuck their brain?

Personally I think the wizard would win.
Really if you can magic up stuff you don't need a gun. You can accelerate bullet shaped explosives at people, you could even guide it too the target, or make the target explode!

Even if limited too telekinesis you could chuck bullets at super-sonic speeds? (fills the "no gun" rule).
