Battle Of The Death Wall: Robot Monkey vs. RedShirt

Postby Robot Monkey » Sat Apr 30, 2011 8:25 pm

So RedShirt came over today, and we held a brikwars battle at my death wall.

(My camera spazzed out and we lost the first few pics. To summarize them, RedShirt got initiative, went first, and had his whole force move up, and he killed one of my troops.)

Image
Brikhed then decided to wear that dead troop's head as a hat.

Image
A blowtorch-wielding mutant then burninated a plant.

Image
Overview of his turn. Lots of moving up on his part.

Image
My turn started, and I had my sniper shoot the Poozooka operator (Yes, a bazooka that shoots poo.)

Image
One of the Mounted gun operators shot a mutant to death.

Image
I then opened my gate, and let the people behind the wall loose. The Man In The Top Hat then killed a mutant that wielded SquAIDS. (Yes, Squid-AIDS)

Image
The Space commando then tried to Point-blank crotch shot some poor mutant, but rolled a 2 instead.

Image
Another mounted gun killed a Coffee-wielding darth maul.

Image
TMITTH, using his second action, chops Brikhed in half.

Image
But Brikhed's not down yet! His head bails.

Image
A mutant then picks up his head,

Image
And puts it on the dead Poozooka operator's body! Brikhed is still alive!

Image
A mutant then pummels the space commando with an iron bar.

Image
A mutant Sapper then tosses some dynamite at my hardsuits...

Image
But my Psychological Warfare troop blasts it away with sound, and it explodes on the other end of the battlefield.

Image
TMITTH then heroic feats to chop up 4 mutants.

Image
Brikhed's floating mech then arrives.

Image
The mech and a poozooka-wielding Brikhed then attack TMITTH, but both make bad rolls and fail to pierce TMITTH's armor.

Image
The mechanik then repairs the Space Commando.

Image
My Flamethrower troop then creates an environmental hazard by burninating some dead bodies and some plants.

Image
Close-up on the fire.

Image
My spy then throws a grenade from the wall, and rolls incredible damage, which kills three mutants and knocks down a tree.

Image
My sniper then eliminates one of Brikhed's minions.

Image
A mounted gun then shoots up a droid.

Image
TMITTH then heroic feats to attack the mech's power source (located conveniently on top of the mech) which results in an explosion, somehow not damaging the mech's frame. (it's still dead though, without power.)

Image
But the explosion sends TMITTH flying! He lands just beyond some fire...

Image
But he rolled some awesome armor, so he's alive!

Image
Brikhed, realizing this is a battle he cannot win, teleports away.

Image
The remaining troops then surrender.

THE REPUBLIC OF INDEPENDENT NATIONS CLAIMS VICTORY!

This was a good battle, in my opinion. The reason why there's so little pictures of Brikhed's turns is because mostly all they did was move and fail at attacks.

If you were to count, Brikhed's forces were larger than mine. RedShirt says that next time we fight, he'll bring more mechs.

For sieges always use RPS (rocket propelled soldiers) although most of them will ether die when attempting to land or just crush into the wall some of them may survive and open the gates, they are also very fun to play with.

Yeah but still, having a big mob unarmed is more like a massacre then a fight. Give Redshirt more explosives and vehicles next wall siege. Anyways, well done RIN

By the way, the teleport out was not cowardice,
I was tired and wanted to play portal 2 and Brik-hed knows when to cut his losses.
The battle took about 2.5 hours.
Also, you may question why we were fighting, because in Piltogg's quest we were teamed up against him.
My explanation is that I was angry after being a sign for so long, and I needed to shoot something.
Ah yes. And this was Robot Monkey's first Brik-wars against a human being.

It was very funny to play Portal 2 co-op after being at each other's throats for two and a half hours.

Well RedShirt, maybe next time you can bring more vehicles and heavy weaponry, so I may have a challenge.

Poozooka. I can see why you'd want to get rid of that thing right off the bat.

Yup. That sucker blew one of the turrets off of my wall. It's a shame that Brikhed escaped with it, the RIN could've made use of that technology.

Actually, the Poozooka was a name that Robot Monkey came up with.
I had just been calling it a missile launcher made out of a toilet.
