havent seen a thread, so i might as well start it. just got back from seeing it, thought it was decent.
discuss.

on another note, it gave me some ideas for MOCs, but now i can't say "i'll sleep when im dead" without people thinking im quoting a damn franchise. there goes one of my best lines.

I agree, it was definitely better than their third attempt, that was almost painful to watch

. anyway, this one was much more on par with the first one in terms of magic medallions, special pirate stuff, and the like.

I have to agree, Iliked the fourth movie much better then the second or third. It was like they realized that the whole thing that made the first one so much fun was the story and not the large CGI krap.

As for the whole sleep when you are dead line, well I always figured you were just quoting Bon Jovi. :wink:

And... Dammit! I can't remember the line the Spanish captain said when he saw the fountain, but it was pretty badass.

loved it, I agree it is better than the last two, more piracy and less supernatural mumbo jumbo, although I don't think a single cannon was fired the entire movie (not counting the flames).

I heard there will be at least two more movies in the future. is it me or is pirates the star wars of this time?

We have replaced Luke Skywalker and droids with Johnny Depp and a few really dumb pirates.

I sincerely hope the mandolin guy sticks around for the next movie or two. He was kinda funny. And he could play Mandolin like a beast.

I didn't see it, but I see no record of him dying on the POTC wiki.

Maybe, but in this movie he was a plot devise to add presure to the team by limiting the time they had to find the goal. He added the presure.
