AEG 'Bruiser' Gunship
The Arkane Guard uses a variety of heavy gunships for battlefield support. A common front-line assult vehicle is known as a BCS3 Class Vehicle, or 'Bruiser'.
Based on a turbine-central VTOL system, the Bruiser supports heavy infantry squads with it's twin chaingun weapons systems. It is capable of dropping 3-4 heavy infantry troops and enduring solitary battle with ground troops for hours.
However, it's main disadvantage is it's complete exposure to airborne threats. Concentration on development based around ground combat led to the lack of weapon hardpoints on the upper hull, and with it's sluggish controls, it may be able to withstand heavy aerial bombardment, but won't be able to keep it up. Deployment of the Bruiser depends on control of the contested territory's airspace.
However, it's heavy armor leads it to support solitary heavy strike missions, where the enemy's scrambling capabilities are inefficient to destroy it before the mission is complete.
Looks like I haven't lost my touch! This is a Arkane Guard VTOL airborne vehicle, with two 3-inch heavy anti-infantry guns, thick shielded armor, and slow movement. Now to make it's air fighting counterpart. Thanks for reading.

I've got to confess from looking at the photos I can't quite make sense of this thing. It looks good, but why are those weird gray pieces hanging off the sides? Are they part of the stand or what? And there doesn't seem to be room for a pilot -- is this microscale, or a drone?
Nevertheless, it's a good design and I look forward to seeing the fighter version.

Ah, sorry, I suppose I didn't integrate those enough. Those are clips for the chainguns. You can kinda see the pilot's head in the first photo, but I didn't build it to carry troops, although that's what it would be able to do. This was just built to pull me out of a bit of a funk- I haven't built anything in a while.

They seem a bit too big and clumsy... maybe take them out or replace them with an ammo drum?
Anyhow, don't take any of my earlier post too hard, this is a good model.
