This difference in how people look at violence and sexual themes keeps shocking me. It makes me fear that there is something extremely wrong with humans.

Having helped out organising a film festival, I can only agree.
the most insanely brutal gory and overall violent movies are perfectly acceptable, but show a nipple and suddenly it is morally wrong?

Anyone who thinks there isn't something extremely wrong with humans is incredulous and sort of proving the point. Extremely Wrong is the natural human default setting.
I notice that many films of the 90's have a higher rating due to swearing alone... I'm talking American films here so the rating is already retarded but far more violently graphic modern day films are of a much lower rating. Even taking into account the lax-ness of modern rating due to merchandising targeting children.

I wonder what would happen if in every movie they depicted firearms realistically. You know the tourn flesh, the stil moaning shivering bodies, skulls that shot open and stuf like that.
