Here's one for those who have trouble installing mods.

The YogBox comes with an self-installer, and includes some of the best mods you can find. Things like DrZhark's Mo Creature, NoHero's More Health for a zelda like health improvement, and Kinniken's Millenaire. All in one, simple little package.

The downside: it takes alot of room. Don't expect to add in Industrial mod, or other mods that uses lots of new texture. Otherwise, it's a great add-on, and a must try.

I usually find him in deep caves hanging out with assorted monsters. Also, he will desert-ify areas, and build underground fortresses. Those are good places to find him.

No, if you have the Yogbox installed. In the Yogbox, he's an NPC character that wreaks havoc with your world, just like the real Israphel.
