My problem with it is that I seem to have no .bin folder, making it impossible to get mods.

For those of you who don't actually check the LoR forums:
"Y'know, if people actually care about the game they won't all pick the DPS-heavy weapon.
In addition (speaking of what Matt was talking about), we have a decent number of non-combat classes involved. The weapons are just so that everyone isn't using swords and bows. It's not about the actual COMBAT; it's about the cool factor. And a Paladin with a Halberd is just friggin' cool. Or an Assassin that uses a blowgun and poison darts. What about a Mage with a Fire Rod? A Barbarian with a Battleaxe?
I'm glad Heroes is at least getting a warm welcome.
My vote is yay to both (in case you didn't see that coming).

Correction: I meant minecraft.jar. It isn't in the bin folder. Want me to screencap it for you? I have hidden folders shown and everything, no minecraft.jar

then you do not have minecraft... as that is the process that is run, when you start it.

You HAVE to have a .jar file, otherwise it can't run.
force update and see if it appears. Or go to minecraft.net and redownload it.
