I could probably give an equally long or longer list but the main ones would be (apart from those marked in BF's post who are also favourites) thesnuggly?, Annihilator, Paradise Lost, Alice Cooper, U.D.O., Grave Digger, Channel Zero and Iron Mask. And of course I like the greats like Iron Maiden, Metallica and Judas Priest too... At Vance, while not an absolute favourite (yet), derserves a mention too, as does Sepultura and Rage.

My favourite metal is thrash metal! Bay Area all the way (Forbidden, yeah!).

I'm also getting into Vicious Rumors as we speak. Now there's an awesome band!

The list goes on Brag and goes bigger almost by the day! I keep discovering bands I like, from various styles of metal. Damn, I just don't get tired of it! My friends even ask if I don't get sick of the same distortion based music, I keep telling them, "Fuck No! It kicks ass!" Metal Is Forever baby!
