Can't build on enemy territory. They'd have to damage us considerably to take out our power.

In the Factions plugin, there is a stat called Power. This is present on the Brikwars server as well. Type /f who [faction name] to view a faction's power. The stat follows: land (# of chunks(16x16 squares)) / current power / maximum power. Bastion's is about 26/54/90.

Each player has a max power of 10, which decreased by 2 when you die. In the Bastion server, it also decreases by 1 for each day that you're offline, and increases while you're online.

The current and total power of a faction is the sum of their member's power. If the faction's current power is less than their land number, enemy factions can claim their land. So, the steps of a raid are-

kill enemy until land>power
claim enemy land at edge of territory
continue until base is breached and you dump lava on their spawnpoint

Something that most factions won't think of are TnT cannons. They won't be able to detonate TnT directly on the walls, but they could build one out in the sea to blow the walls out with. We'd have to take aggressive action in this instance.

What, did you mine out all the blocks around your base and put lava falls instead? nah, diggy diggy is the best way to go, in my oppinion.

The problem being that digging is dangerous for your health around gravel. Plus, you can't exactly place a torch once the gravel is already falling. I'm fairly certain you'd have to be incredibly quick with your cursor, if it's not impossible.

I don't think anyone has even considered using tnt cannons against people but myself, and now you. It's good to set up defenses but I just don't see it happening. I talked to Scruffy and he told me he didn't plan on attacking you because he was too busy building, take that how you will.

Hrm. Here's a bit of data for Lurker. And yes, I use the torch/gravel trick to great extent in mining- it destroys a stack in one go.


Enemies take 3 damage per block. This would be attacking from the rear- if this was in the courtyard, they'd still have to get past the gates.

Also, adding liquids on top the water would be an effective tactic as well-

Put a dead man's switch. At the absolute center of the base, have a switch that will set off an immense chain reaction of TNT, leaving no trace of Bastion.
