I guess writing "Fuck You" on a kid's autograph is kind of a dick move, and Notch fancies his game as being pretty PG, or PG-13 rated, and doesn't like people cursing and trolling.

I understand Notch's reaction to this. I mean, realistically, the doods from Yogscast can be a little bit on the annoying side.

If you had read all of the relevant information instead of trusting someone who was abstracting what they heard, they actually didn't do that...

...also, before saying ANYTHING about this, you have to watch the interview from the second day. Notch came in and talked to them for a few minutes.

Notch: But you wouldn't though. It would just be me. And you would be like, oh no, I'm stuck in Notching.
Simon: Oh my God. What if I woke up and I was just in your body, and I'm Notch. What would I do. I would just troll people. I would add really weird stuff to Minecraft.
Notch: Yeah. That actually happened to me once.
Simon: Really? You-
Notch: Yeah, I just woke up and I was in Notch's body.
Simon: Oh my God. How did that feel?
Notch: It was kinda fun, but I started trolling people, I just went on vacation immediately.
Simon: Right.
Lewis: *snorts*
Simon: You went away. You post about it on Twitter, first, obviously. 'Cause you've gotta let people know.
Lewis: *laughing*
Notch: Yeah yeah yeah. Yeah. Of course.
Lewis: It's polite.
Simon: Yeah, it'd be rude otherwise, just doing a disappearing act. So... "see you later, LOL." Something like that.
Lewis: *laughing*
Notch: Yeah exactly,

Gentlemen? It is my honest opinion that we have a massive troll on our hands.

The way I see it Notch has as much trouble to understand what the other two are saying as I have. There are moments when you can actually see that he does't get what they are talking about. Suddenly they start laughing and he didn't get the joke. So he probably assumed that they are laughing at him, what is not a nice thing to do.
Probably that's the first part of a misunderstanding that escalated. As simple as that.
