I predict the return of Castle/Fantasy being popular themes for Brik Wars battles/armies and a decrease in the Peach hate.

That Lego is going to be stylizing Middle Earth is great news but I want to see some prototypes or final sets before I get too excited. Toy Fair NY should be good this year.

My wallet is going to be feeling the pain this summer with Lego Lord of the Rings and Mega Bloks World of Warcraft.

Man, I'm going to have to get my hands on some yellow heads and a metric shitload of Gandalfs.

This will strengthen the Peach forces.

We'll just have to up our higher-tech army production and smush all these ent hugging midget peaches.

My feelings exactly. Even if TLC decides to take the path of lameness, there will likely be at least be some good elements that can be salvaged.

This. I'm worried the sets won't be big enough. How can they make Helms Deep or Minas Tirith without 1000s if not 10000s or more pieces? Although a Nazgul battle pack would be pretty awesome...

I'm afraid I'm going to pass this line (peach minifigs and lego usually fucking-up licensed sets), but I might reconsider this after seeing actual set pics.

Man if these sets come out as good as they sound I may need to take a 2nd. and 3rd. mortgage out on my house to stock up.

Well they probably will use some molded base plates, which I really wouldn't mind... and possibly sell important bits of each location over multiple sets.
