I don't know about eating a full human, but eating a man's heart gives you his courage.

Early South American or African (can't remember) explorers called human meat "long pork." They visited cannibal tribes, but they were unaware they were cannibals. They ate human meat along with them, and to them it tasted like some sort of pig.

Okay, this thread went from politics/education, to two people giving the same arguments over religion for a couple of pages, and now to wierd things people eat. I actually forgot what it was originally about for a minute.
:sparta:

Anyway, what's wrong with religion? The basic teaching of most of them (at least Chritianity as I understand it)(if people would follow them, which a lot of times they don't) are to help other people and to tolerate them. I find it annoying when atheists whine about anything to do with religion. I have to put up with your beliefs, so you have to put up with mine. And anyway, if I'm wrong and there is no God and no afterlife, what do I lose by believing in it while I'm alive? When I die just blackness. No thought, no holy crap, I was wrong, just...nothing.

Anyway, once I went to the Ripley's museum in Myrtle Beach SC and there was a cannibal fork with a (fake) human thumb on it in one of the displays. It kinda freaked me out (I was young at the time).

Problem with beliefs like atheism and most religion is that by nature they exclude the others. Thus:

LOL NO UR WRONG

As in other beliefs. You know, like not persecuting people just because they don't think like you do, including "excluding the others"

I'll admit, we haven't always followed that idea, but we try. At least I do.
