I- um- I blew that piece of shit up last Fourth of July. Can't believe they're using the same base still. That thing sucked so much.

currently working on a new Tank for the Caspians, it's roughly the same width as the Volkan Mastodon, and a little shorter than it.
Upon completion it's going to change the entire doctrine for tanks in my armies, because it's simply so big compared to the Kodiak , Sledgehammer and Jaguars that its unfair

Re: Nations of the Kilo, Rho and Zulu Nebula Systems
Still not sure if I should be making this the new battletank, or simply a Super Heavy Tank, This would mean it would be roughly the equivalent of the Mastodon, and I can give the AT-AT to the Kamaz. This is only in a prototype stage, I plan on changing the entire Crew Compartment and turret, because frankly it just looks dumb. It was looking like a tank up until the body was finished, then It started looking like garbage because I wanted to be able to fit minifigs inside, I may end up scrapping that idea, or Modifying the base, because the compartment underneath the wheels is completley hollow. I wanted to make something like a Leclerc Tank
In G.R 2012 the Caspian Arms Industry sought to replace the Jaguar, but ended up creating something entirley different, the Predatpr tank is a Super Heavy Battletank designed for heavy support on the battlefield. Currentley the Armageddon is still in development and only Prototype Vehicles have been completed.
Currentley the Predator V1 is designed only as a test for the drive and Chasis systems, the crew compartment is only for training, and the vehicle is armed only with a light cannon, also for testing.
Think of it like the Star Wars Prototype AT-ATs, they looked entirley different in their early stages

The Predator V2 is finished, it looks like a tank now, not some kind of arctic towing vehicle with a gun on top.
Base Version
If Necessary, side weapon mounts can be added to support a variety of weapons
The back view showing the extra playing on the rear, covering the crew hatch. the Plates can be dropped if necessary to allow the crew to abandon vehicle
The Crew hatch behind the Rear plating. *Kind of inspired by the real life Israeli Merkava Tank, found the door peice and thought why not just make the exit in the rear instead of making them on the roof*
Turret removed showing the crew compartment, the weapon systems are controlled remotely the fig one seat, while the other drives the vehicle, reducing the crew size to 2

Re: Nations of the Kilo, Rho and Zulu Nebula Systems
I'm going to be splitting this thread into 3, Pretty much everything has been seen by now, but I occasionally add new Vehicles and such
I don't have time to do it right now, but they are going to be split into
Caspian/Protoxan
Kamazian/Larrian
Volkan/Shan
I started Playing Mass Effect again, I figured that the Lingshan Droid armies would be a little more original if they were Sentitent Robots or something, instead of "Battle Drones", So they're Basically Skynet + Geth now

Re: Nations of the Kilo, Rho and Zulu Nebula Systems
I'm playing with the idea of converting the Mastodon into a Tank/APC hybrid, Since I kind of want to make each faction have a battle vehicle in that size range.
I'm reluctant to take apart the Jaguar and Sledgehammer tanks since I've kind of had it forever, it's not much but I was always proud of it, but I might be able to just take the tracks off it.
Anyway I'm going to start "shutting down" this thread, I'm going to start 3 others and keep them dedicated to factions, and organize them and such.

Hey Kastrenzo, sorry for bumping this old thread, but I remembered that you wanted more tread bits for tanks...
Ever consider the TIE Crawler?
You'd have to buy it after market, but at around $50 US and second only to the Sandcrawler in tread pieces, it's a helluva deal.
Or, try looking up some of these sets.

Re: Nations of the Kilo, Rho and Zulu Nebula Systems
Use the Caspian Federation / Protoxan State thread for general discussion,
I wish I could just make an umbrella thread, that has general information, and then links to each faction, but that would imply Having like 7 threads.
Also I saw the crawler but I'm not into it enough to go searching on Ebay and stuff, I mean there are sets that I really liked, but I think doing things like paying $50 for a Clone trooper Battle pack from 2007 is a little absurd, when it was originally 12-15.
My hope was they'd release some equally cool stuff this year, but There's hardly anything good this year, IMHO
