Wow, this is rather impressive, probably the best I've ever seen from Megabloks! That said, there is only one, major, flaw here.

It isn't Lego.

Agreed, the best of Megablocks still looks like poop.

I just hate how it's all so SHINY. You can't see crap. The colors are all over the place, too. They need to learn how to simplify.

I think it's pretty ugly stuff. Too colourful, too shiny and most of the buildings just look ugly.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway

So, it's a pretty accurate interpretation of Warcraft?

No, because Warcraft has all saturated colors and really bright crap that matches itself. MegaBlocks never match themselves.

Interesting but I would like to see some better shots and may have to see them in person before I make up my mind. And some more close up shots of the minis (especially Night and Blood Elves) would be nice.
Thank you for the link and if you come across anymore please share them.

Just wondering how those of you that plan on incorporating Warcraft into BrikWars will handle it. Do you plan on having stat cards for each race and class available to that race or just go with the standard BrikWars stat cards?
As much as I love Lego Castle stuff, I did also love playing Warcraft 1, 2 and 3 (World of Warcraft was ok but the RTS games were more fun to play to me) and if the minis and sets turn out pretty good from Mega Bloks, I plan on having some Horde verse Alliance battles and armies on my tabletop. The way things are looking so far that will be happening and if the Castle Legos want a piece of the action, they are welcome to join in.
If this post should go in a different forum then please let this Dimmie Noob know and I'll start a thread there.

I looked over all those images... meh. It's hard to explain; I think others have done it better than I can. I just look at everything and it doesn't strike me as awesome. I look over Lego sets and my usual reaction is "oh man that's so fucking sweeeet!"... nothing from Mega Bloks makes me feel that way.

It's not just the WoW stuff here either. I see it in the same isles of Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I stop, grab a box, look it over, and again.... Meh....

What I do like from Mega Bloks are the terrain base plates. Those are actually pretty neat. A few of the Halo weapons are trick. Maybe a few bits from the WoW stuff intrigue me. That's about it really; doubt I'd ever buy sets of them.

Has there been anymore news or leaked images of the WoW sets?

None, to my knowledge. If I recall correctly, they're scheduled this summer though, so PR stuff should surface soon-ish.

Hopefully they are saving the updates for the New York Toy Fair and we'll get to see some new images then.

Apparently it's not "What they're about" to have sets commemorating Humans fighting off Monsters from Starcraft or Halo, but it's OK to Commemorate a Movie and TV series that had frequent Decapitations and dismemberments from Lazor Swords.

Well do realise that the ADU is the Alien Defense Unit.
Apparently, if you are an attacking Alien force, it's alright to kil- I mean harmlessly blow you up.
