Indigenous Tribes

Chewbakka destroyed a healbot with a fell swoop.

Brittanians

Jones had a bit more trouble dispatching his foes than the crusader, his feat also failed.

After destroying the bot the crusader marched to the lab gate.

Shadow of the Red Baron

The sanguine baron dove down with guns blazing and the propeller did the rest, shredding apart two conquistadores.

As he gained altitude the velocity of the plane caused the blood to fly off the hull, creating a crimson miasma.

Fort Garrison

A Jaeger slid down the wall.

He grabbed the chest and prepared to throw...

It hit her square in the face.

As the chest broke apart, its contents were revealed. A Psi Disruptor! Gives the ability to cast 1 psi spell per turn to the wielder.

"Strike with great vengeance!" (critical success, +2 damage)

Sharane faced a three-way attack, but she fought it off narrowly, dodging and parrying enough of the damage to survive.

When the garrison rushed out to fight, three more VoL fell to the onslaught. One Jaeger was killed by a riposte.

Conquistadores

Angelica and her unoccupied men opened fire en masse on the ripperbots. The Duchess kept putting her vengeance points to good use (+1 skill and damage).

Inquistadorial Shock Troops

The cyborg with the OTC rushed one pilot while three royal marines swarmed the other.

The result was predictable.

Despite a valiant fight, Karsten died as well.

The Assyrian suffered the same fate.

Prince Vinambre was first up the stairs, rushing for melee.

His bloodlust failed him and he tripped, plummeting back down the stairs.

At least the fall didn't incapacitate him.

Wolfpack

The troops inside the Command HQ greeted their encroaching enemies with a massive volley, but did quite horribly: only Cyborg Schwarzenegger managed to pick off one of the assailants.

Seeing this, Johanna leaped out to confront Duke Felipe in a nova claymore duel.


Ah it's good to be back. The VoL, Immortals and lab specimens still have to go, and then maybe some... ;) Send orders if you're one of these factions.

Aah, how often we see the poor berserker defeated by a combination of insensate rage and stairs, so sad. Might I suggest constructing a stair lift of some sort.

It's almost pathetic seeing the Inquistadores' greatest warrior fail almost every attempt to kill or attack something.

My orders are to keep killing those damned robots, and take some shots at the Red Baron. Another vengeance point should be used, too.

Without a (working) camera, again. The reserve's battery just died as I was finishing this round, and unfortunately this older model can't power up the battery directly. We fix this by switching the filled batteries from the newer model to the old but this happened despite the person who's taken the camera explicitly telling me she'd made sure the old model had a full battery in it before she left... :roll: Rather peeved off at this, this just delayed the end of Round 4 to Monday at least. I suppose BrickSyd can keep you entertained in the meantime.

The VoL counter-attacked, remaining as effective as they had been the entire battle.

Immortals

Sharane spun her powerblades like helicopter blades as she turned swiftly, but fumbled the attempt to take off her opponents' heads.

This gave Kommandant Von Blocke an opening, but he squandered the opportunity.

Sharane then found regular attacks worked just as well. Von Blocke wasn't going to miss the opportunity now...

As he struck a blow that would have killed Sharane, the Terrorkhan swooped down, one taking the blow in his colonel's stead. With their desired target out of sight and range, the Terrorkhan prepared to defend their commander to the last.

House del Montero

Two knights barged into the control room and fired at the unarmed alien volunteer, missing him.

With the path obstructed, the knights outside the command centre went after Troll. The ranged one displayed horrid accuracy.

Duke Felipe fumbled his attack, losing his visor because of his own strike (no effects).

Lab specimens

Troll flew to relative safety, firing on his enemies with the heavy bolter. Flying and firing simultaneously seemed to be a problem, however.

Flamer descended, attempting to rectify his collegue's mistake...

He did better, cooking the knight alive and proving George Carlin's statement.

Sir Bragallot attempted to increase the effectiveness of his droids, but confused them instead.

For once in his life, Basher ignored an opportunity at killing something and tried to sneak past the Inquistadores.

The ripperbots swarmed the Crusader, but didn't manage to bring him down.

Marshal Jones survived another round of attacks, while one Conquistador got less lucky.

Reinforcements

The Immortals had convinced more alien tribes to join the struggle. (reinforcements for the indigenous tribes, same stats)

"Didn't the Emperor tell us to destroy these impostors on sight?"

"Relax. I am able to summon Warhead sphincters and control them for a brief duration. If we play our cards wisely, we can use these duplicates as free soldiers and end up getting them killed anyway. Besides..."
