I had soup that contained octopus tentacles once. It tastes similar to other seafood, and was really good. You just have to ignore the appearance.

Calamari steak is one of my favorite foods. Octopus isn't as good as squid though. It's way tougher.
But that's just my opinion. It's not relevant in other people's lives.

Honestly? Most grocery stores sell some really cheap breading/seasoning mixes that you just coat equally cheap imitation crab in and fry the shit out of. I used to skewer them and call them krab-kebobs.
