I agree, unit-buffing feats always feel really boring and uninspired. If I can't think of a feat better than "these dudes get +x to (stat)," I just save a response feat.

Chewbacca could do almost everything that R2-D2 could do and he could fight too.
...True, but Chewy only showed up in four of the movies.
It took a fucking moon falling on him to kill Chewbacca.

Again true, but R2 went on to survive at least 137 years after the films, if not far longer.
There is a reason the little guy is Lucas' favorite character in the whole franchise.

Because he was played by a midget and makes sounds which are modified recordings of baby noises?

R2 was in the movies for comedic relief. Chewy was in the movies for pure badassery.

No, R2 is like the Anon, he's there to get shit done and have a few lulz.

C3PO was there for comedic relief.

Han Solo is the best character in the entire series because he's played by Harrison Ford.

A lot of people attempt to summon reinforcements. I might treat that as asking for one of your men to be killed off.

I like heroes that can smash things. Smashing things can be very useful in battles.

Unconventional or downright hilarious heroes are always fun too, like PeaceAss from Silent-Sigfig's 'fall of starport xx'.

Awesome, thanks for all the responses! It's nice to see so many different perspectives on what makes a great hero! All the input is proving useful on a battle I'll be setting up. While I had earlier said I would do a forum campaign centered around five characters, scaling things up so that I could focus on that many characters the way I'd originally planned proved to be too large of a scale for the amount of space/bricks I have currently on hand, so I've been restructuring what I have around a smaller campaign (but no less awesome) with a single central character. I had no real ideas for who the central character should be, so I decided on a brikwar for the MC slot between 8 worthy heroes; this topic has been helpful in deciding what types of heroes to create. Anyway, look forward to that battle in the coming weeks, I'll be posting it up as soon I've finished making the characters, currently, I have 3 finished, and 4 more have been conceptualized; with parts to build them ordered and in the mail.

It goes without question Billy should be the hero.
