Battle Beasts! This is what I always hoped LEGO would do with the Fabuland sets.

holy shit... I had like 30 or so battle beasts that I got at a garage sale and I never even knew what they were called...

I had the road-based red army ant squad and the airborne blue army ant squad, as well as a handful of the battle beasts. There was something similar to the bbs, involving robots that came in baggies that dissolved when you soaked them in water. I can't remember what they were, but I really liked the ones I got. And I must mention Monster in my Pocket (I only had a couple choice ones, but my brother had a complete collection of series 1 until a school classmate stole one of the rare ones).
