If I lived in NYC I wouldn't bother with a car, either. But rather than subways everywhere, I have a bus that comes by every half-hour, at the most. And it doesn't go to very many places that I need to go.

This, plus a lot of rust and it ain't foldable, brake cable adjusters have been stolen off of it. there is red fluff coming out of the sadle and the tires are flat.

what more could one wish for?

Image, only missing a bit of molding in places and otherwise showing its age and hard use. 220k miles on it iirc, though the engine and transmission are about 100k miles younger.
