Maybe Roller Derby should be the favourite sport of the BrikVerse, like Metal is the favourite music.

What about rugby? In addition to smashing people's faces in it involve drinking lots of beer afterwards. Also, there's basically no protection for most people other than a mouth guard.

The crowd gets tanked before, during, and after our games, so I don't really see a difference there.

I'm not just talking about the crowd, but the players as well. Maybe rugby and roller derby could both be the top sports of the Brikverse though?

I've got it: No one in the Brikverse can decide which they like better, so there is an annual competition (Rugby vs Roller Derby)... the winner is the official sport for the year.*

Why not a combination of Rugby and Derby played on ice? Maybe with the players armed with crude bludgeons?

This is ironic because we actually use a rugby tactic called the scrum start in roller derby.

The funniest part is that Canadian Bald Eagles outnumber American Bald Eagles 5-1, and that they have learned to operate nuclear warheads.
