Bath Salts? Totally likely: smoke shops sell these things labeled and packaged as bath salts that you apparently smoke, which causes people to go bat-shit insane and do bizarre shit like this. I heard one story about a guy hallucinating cop cars outside of his house while his parents were trying to talk to him so he slit his throat (non-lethally). There's some weird drugs out there.

EDIT: In all seriousness, guns are fun to shoot and hunting is a big part of American culture, so I don't like when people want to ban guns everywhere. If you want to stay away from them, then that's fine, and I have no problem with that. Just don't start trying to take them away from everyone else who enjoys them.

I enjoy them as well. Sure, some people don't, and I can respect that. But everyone who wants to completely abolish gun rights is just stupid. Some people say that taking away guns would lessen crime rates, when in fact it would cause them to increase greatly, as its a lot easier to rob someone who won't be able to pull a gun on their assailant and shoot their ass.

I recall hearing a research paper and mentioning that they made a law in Kennesaw where people were legally required to own guns, and crime rates went down. It wasn't my paper. so don't quote me on that until I can visit almighty wikipedia and google.
