EDIT: In all seriousness, guns are fun to shoot and hunting is a big part of American culture, so I don't like when people want to ban guns everywhere. If you want to stay away from them, then that's fine, and I have no problem with that. Just don't start trying to take them away from everyone else who enjoys them.

Time to make this thread all about me.

Relevant Canada Fact: You can only legally get guns if you're going to use them for hunting. If you try to get one for "self-defense" or any other reason you would use to shoot people you would be denied a license. Practically all guns are long guns(shotguns, rifles etc.) and kept track of very well.

However crime still exists as do gangsters with illegal guns.
